Octavia Davis

Youth Coordinator

Octavia has 4 children, and wonderful husband of 23yrs. She works at the City of Midland as a Deputy Warrant Clerk. She has been a member of True- Lite for over 20 yrs.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To teach the young people to avoid the consequences of a wrong choice by giving them the only option, which is truth.

Tangie Lee

Assistant Youth Coordinator

Tangie is the mother of 3 girls, Chelsea, Jaylaan, and Ashlin, whom she loves with all her heart. She has been involved in the youth ministry for 14 years and has been working with children from ages 4 to 17. She has worked with Children's Church, Sunday School and Wednesday night Bible study areas of ministry. "I do love what I do and I love all the babies too!"

Goal of the Youth Dept: To help teach and guide youth to want to live for Jesus. Whatever it takes for them to love Him and want God to change them.

Brian Arnold

Youth Leader - Specialty Team

Brian has a son named Tripp. He is very active in many ministries at True-Lite.

Goal of the Youth Dept: Developing our young people in the areas of Purity, Modesty, and Choices.

Mr. Rayon and Diana Calhoun

Youth Leader - Specialty Team

Rayon and Diana have two children. Rayon is an associate minister at True-Lite and Diana is a deaconess. They are both very active in many departments at True-Lite such as: teaching Sunday School, new members facilitator and youth leaders.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To make young people know that in Christ they can be very useful. Being young does not mean being ineffective. Being young means extra energy!!!

Cecilia "Anna" Gonzalez

Youth Leader - VP; Outreach; Fundraising

Cecilia is a mother of a 10 year old and a 23 year old. She has one grandson and has been working 14 years as a Sales Agent.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To serve and be inspired

Nicole Mason

Youth Leader - Sunday School

Nicole is the daughter of Tammy Whiteside and has a brother, Josh Ross. Nicole works at Texas Health and Human Service Commission.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To prepare them for worldly battles that they will face as Christians; and teach them how to live victorious lives.

Barbara Matelski

Youth Leader - Decorating; Outreach; VP

Barbara and her husband Todd moved to West Texas two years ago. She has a three year old Beagle named Reagan. She loves spending time with her husband, gourmet cooking and going to the Big-Sky Drive-in.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To encourage true transparency in our own area of influence as we strive to be "authentic" for our Lord!!

Evelyn Mathis

Youth Leader - Outreach

She is a wife and the mother of four children; Tiffany, Brandi, Ericka, and Kamron. Also the grandmother of seven beautiful grand-kids. She worked for 17 yrs at the State Workers Compensation office. Now she currently works for Dr. Susan Van de Water M.D.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To direct the youth in the path of God by example and help with the growth of the youth department through outreach. Help them understand the blessings of outreach.

Gwen McGowan

Youth Leader - Sunday School; Specialty Team

Gwen is on-air personality for LoneStar 92 radio. She is active in a many community programs. She is not married and doesn't have any children. She is trying to follow God's plan for her life.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To help these youth build a strong foundation for their lives. A house built in the sand cannot stand, you must build your house on The Rock. To help the young people realize who they are in Christ.

Terry and Lovie Neal

Youth Leader - Skit and Drama; Props Team

Terry works for Anadarko Petroleum Company and Lovie is retired. Both of them worked with the youth in Crane and Hearne Texas. They have two older daughters, a grandson, and lots of nieces and nephews, some of which go to True-Lite.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To help with the youth and help the kids involved to understand what it is God wants them to do.

Eric and Pan Seay

Youth Leaders - Event Coordinators

Eric works for the City of Midland as a Public Safety Systems Analyst and Pam is a Jailer for Midland County Sheriff's Department. They have been married for 14 years and have 5 children, Steve, Samantha, Nathan, Rhea Ann and Treydan. They have been members, and Eric has been serving as an elder, for 9 years at True-Lite. Eric was Senior Pastor for 5 years at 1st Southern Baptist before coming to True-Lite.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To help grow men and women who will be dedicated to the Lord's work. To train and minister the youth as Christian servants. To live as conquerors of the Truth of God in order to unite in commitment and fellowship. To build a foundation for all the youth to have as a standard. And to embrace the Truth of God's Word in relationships and actions.

Keisha Smith

Youth Leader - Sunday School; Specialty Team

Keisha is the daughter of Pastor Roy and Carla Smith. She graduated from Midland High and left to pursue a degree at Midwestern State University. She enjoys playing volleyball. Keisha is a member of the True-Lite Choir and a member of the praise and worship team.

Goal for the the Youth Dept: Develop God conscience and fearing young people, prepare our young people to be leaders now and also in the future.

Tamesha Truitt

Youth Leader - Sunday School; Specialty Team

Tamesha is the wife of William Truitt and the mother of Christian and Jada. She is also a Deaconess at True-Lite. When she is not busy at home and church she works at BC Operating Inc. as a property manager/receptionist; and is currently starting her own business.

Goal for the Youth Dept: Prepare our young people for spiritual warfare, Train them, Lead them, and Guide them!

Renee Wallace

Youth Leader - Decorating Team; VP Organizer

Renee is the mother of two , Brendon and Brandon. She is very active in many areas at True-Lite. When she is not busy with the boys or at church she shines her light at the customer service desk at Sam's Club.

Goal for the Youth Dept: To instill the importance of service in one's christian walk.
